MHS Chargers Bring Home State Championship For Fourth Year In A Row

For the fourth time in as many seasons, the McClintock Charger Speech and Debate team has brought home the big trophy from the AIA 4A Division State Championship Tournament. With 26 State Medalists, 8 State Runners-Up, and 5 Individual State Championships, the Chargers maintained a 77-point lead to win the State Tournament for the fourth year running. Congratulations to everybody who participated in this extraordinary achievement. Particular Congratulations to our individual State Champions: Abby Perkins and Dillan Butler in Duo Acting, Natalie Dimitrova in Dramatic Interpretation (for the second year in a row!), Andrew Mealy in Humorous Interpretation, Dillan Butler in Student Congress, and Abby Perkins in Lincoln Douglas Debate.
