5-Time AIA 4A State Champions '07 | '08 | '09 | '10 | '11

The McClintock High Speech and Debate team has won their third AIA 4A State Championship in a row. On Saturday, March 21st the Chargers took on a field of 15 teams in a total of 14 different events at Washington High School, and emerged victorious. This achievement was very much a team effort, with everyone contributing their part. The Chargers Speech team also collected individual State Championships in Student Congress, Policy Debate, Dramatic Interpretation, and Poetry Interpretation, as well as top placings in Duo Interpretation, Duo Acting, Lincoln Douglas debate, Prose Interpretation, Extemporaneous Speaking, Humorous Interpretation, and Impromptu Speaking. Congratulations to each and every member of the team, for a really extraordinary showing.
